After the students have measured and filled their rocket with water (that we provide), the bottle neck is inserted into a yolk on the launcher to support it while the pressurizing hose is twisted into launch position.
Fins must be at least two inches
from the end of the bottle to be sure
it clears the launchers release mechanism.
Students will be permitted to readjust the
parachute / nosecone after it's positioned
on the launcher prior to being pressurized.
If the team is wearing proper eye
protection (and weather conditions allow)
one team member will be allowed to
trigger the launch.
